Removing Radiators

First item DRAIN the SYSTEM!

Normal radiators pose little problem. Undo fittings and lift off brackets or 8if they are fastened on with nuts and bolts (like some of ours) use a ratchet set to un fasten from the wall mounts. I recommend turning the valves up to keep any remaining water in the radiator from spilling out.

Many of the radiators in this property were base board heaters. And as we are replacing the old heating system entirely we are scrapping all the pipes as well. An angle grinder was very useful in cutting the pipes making extraction much easier.

We have installed all new Hep2O and Barlo Radiators powered by a Worcester Bosh Boiler.
